Skills & Qualifications:

NOTE that preference will be given to those candidates who are currently living  in Machakos County

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Agriculture, Agricultural Education, Agribusiness,  Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Economics, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• A Master’s Degree in Agriculture or a related field will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a college, TVET institution, or university is preferred.
• A valid TVETA Trainer License or eligibility to obtain one will be an added advantage.
• Strong professionalism, patience, adaptability, and a commitment to student success..
• Flexibility to work as per the institution’s schedule.  
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent Research and Critical thinking skills.
• Time management skills and attention to detail.
