Position Overview

• We are seeking a motivated, innovative, and results-oriented Business Development  Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in business development, client relationship management, proposal development, market research, and strategic partnerships within a dynamic consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
• Identify and qualify potential clients across the public, private, and development sectors.
• Maintain and update the business development pipeline and client database.
• Support the preparation of proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), capability statements, and presentations.
• Monitor procurement portals and identify relevant tender opportunities.
• Assist in developing marketing materials and digital content.
• Support client meetings, networking events, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Prepare business development reports and maintain accurate records.
• Follow up with prospective clients and partners to strengthen business relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree (completed or final year) in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Public Relations, Communications, International Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in business development, consulting, and client engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
