Design and implement sponsorship packages for key initiatives such as conventions, CPDs, and industry events. Drive growth in nonsubscription revenue to enhance financial sustainability. Strategic Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including: Built environment firms Developers and contractors Product manufacturers and suppliers Financial institutions Government agencies and regulators Structure and negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships, MoUs, and agreements. Event & Program Commercialization Secure sponsors and exhibitors for major events, including conventions, expos, and biennales. Develop partnership tiers and value propositions. Ensure strong return on investment (ROI) for sponsors to drive longterm engagement and renewals. Corporate & Institutional Engagement Position the organization as a trusted industry authority within the built environment. Establish collaborations with universities, government institutions, and industry bodies. Explore regional and PanAfrican partnership opportunities. Member Value Expansion Develop partnerships that provide exclusive benefits and discounts to members. Identify and implement initiatives that enhance member retention and acquisition. Support programs aimed at increasing membership growth and engagement. Market Intelligence & Strategy Monitor trends in construction, real estate, sustainability, and urban development. Identify emerging opportunities in areas such as green building, affordable housing, and technology integration. Provide strategic insights to leadership to support decisionmaking and positioning. Reporting & Performance Tracking Track and analyze revenue from sponsorships and partnerships. Prepare performance and growth reports for senior leadership and governing bodies. Develop and monitor annual business development targets aligned with organizational strategy. Brand Positioning & Visibility Collaborate with internal teams to enhance brand visibility and market presence. Strengthen corporate engagement through thought leadership forums and industry events. Represent the organization at key networking and industry platforms. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business Development, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or revenue generation roles. Strong networking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends. Ability to drive initiatives independently and deliver measurable results.
