Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities entail:

• Ensuring the safe transportation of Board personnel and/or goods from source to destination as per instructions;
• Detecting and report malfunctioning of vehicles system;
• Keeping a record of the vehicle’s movement through the “Work Ticket”;
• Monitoring and reporting the vehicle service and insurance schedule;
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the vehicle;
• Reporting incidents and accidents as soon as they occur as per the policy; and
• Ensuring adherence to or observations of traffic laws.

Person specification

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:

• At least KCSE (D+) or equivalent qualifications;
• Have passed the Occupational Test III for drivers;
• Minimum four (4) years’ active driving experience (Class B, C, E);
• Valid driving license;
• Craft certificate;
• Proficiency in computer applications;
• Adequate knowledge of the Highway code; and
• Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
