Key Responsibilities    

• Responsible for driving University vehicles
• Undertake routine checks on University vehicles to ensure there are no defects, before and after trips
• Ensure all University vehicles comply with traffic rules and regulations by taking them for inspection
• Ensure University vehicles are always clean and in good condition
• Report any vehicle defects to immediate supervisor
• Report all accidents and incidents that may occur to either the driver or the vehicle promptly
• Ensure Work-Tickets are duly authorized
• Observe courtesy while driving the clients to various destinations and also to other drivers on the road
• Observe traffic rules and regulations and maximum speed limit always when on duty
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications & Skills    

• Class A/ B / C / E with PSV endorsement
• KCSE D(Plain) Certificate or its equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;
• Basic Mechanical Skills
• GTT III certificate
• Certificate in first aid
• Certificate of good conduct
• Defensive Driving Skills
• 3 years’ experience as a Driver (accident free)
