Requirements for Appointment For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:- Served in the grade of Driver II for a minimum period of three (3) years; Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D plain or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics from a recognized institution; Passed Occupational Trade Test II for Drivers; Valid class BCE driving license free from any current endorsements; Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its Equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; vii. Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from a recognized Institution; Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the Highway Code; Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade III from the Ministry of Roads and Public Works; Valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police Service; and Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results go to method of application »
