Job role The electrical technician will ensure minimal downtime, thus ensuring set OEE is met, perform PM on all equipment, and conduct RCA on defective machines. Key Responsibilities & Duties Performing preventive maintenance as per planned schedule. Prepare and maintain shift maintenance and breakdown report. Troubleshooting and locating root cause and repair of electrical motors and equipment in the plant ensuring set target of OEE. Monitoring HT/LV panels and generators and ensuring proper change over during power failure. Performing preventive maintenance on all related electric equipment Management and auditing of spare stock. Generate maintenance tasks and liaise with engineers for execution/resolution. Perform any other duty(ies) as will be assigned from time to time by the supervisor or management. Key Performance Indicators Machine preventive maintenance needs to follow 100%, report need to submit on the same date. Mean Time to Repair needs to be reduced by 5%. Ensure LOTO and basic safety rules compliance of 100%. Tools management handled with 5% life improvements. 5s/5k Technician office and workshop always. Must have skills Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Analytical thinker. Attention to details. Teamwork and effective communication skills. Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Self-motivated and able to work under pressure. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extra hours, shifts, weekends and holiday. Qualifications Craft certificate, Diploma electrical engineering or equivalent qualification. Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of electrical machinery and electronic maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools. Adherence to health and safety regulations Certificate of good conduct. Basic computer literacy.
