Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, gardens and landscaped areas
- Plant and care for trees, herbs and vegetables
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems
- Water plants and lawns as scheduled
- Maintain ponds and water features
- Clean and maintain swimming pools
- Keep pathways, verandahs and outdoor areas clean
- Maintain BBQ areas, garages and surrounding grounds
- Manage waste collection, segregation and composting
- Feed and maintain ducks and animal housing
- Prepare outdoor areas for guest arrivals
- Support general repairs and maintenance
- Clean and safely store tools and equipment
- Assist with guest activity setups when required
- Provide security cover when assigned
- Report maintenance issues, damage and equipment faults
- Perform other duties assigned by management
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, farming or general labour
- Practical knowledge of gardening and grounds maintenance
- Ability to use basic gardening and maintenance tools
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Good understanding of cleanliness and workplace safety
- Reliable, disciplined and hardworking
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Good teamwork and communication skills
