The Head of Finance is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the company’s finance function. The role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, financial controls, taxation, compliance, and financial planning.

The position ensures accurate and timely financial information, strengthens financial controls, manages liquidity, and provides management with insights to support profitability, sustainable growth, and sound business decisions. In a microfinance environment, the role also provides oversight of financial performance, loan portfolio accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• CPA(K), ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior finance management role.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and management reporting skills.
