Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace health and safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and crisis response.
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and coach store teams on health and safety best practices.
- Maintain statutory HSE records and monitor compliance with OSHA and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Track safety performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, Public Health, Risk Management, or a related field.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent professional HSE certification.
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification is an added advantage.
- 3–5 years' experience in health and safety within retail, FMCG, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or similar multi-site environments.
- Strong knowledge of incident investigation, risk assessment, contractor safety management, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
