Job Specifications
- Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration, with a specialization in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) III or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Membership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or another relevant professional body;
- A certificate in computer applications from recognized institution
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
- A valid Certificate of good conduct
Duties and responsibilities
- Conducting regular audit ofthe institute's systems, processes, and procedures;
- Auditing financial statements to assess compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
- Reviewing internal control systems and reporting any identified weakness;
- Identifying risk areas within the Institute's management structures, processes and systems and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate the identified risks;
- Reviewing budgetary controls to ensure compliance with approved budgets and financial procedures
- Updating and maintaining accurate audit records.
- Performing any other relevant duties as assigned
