Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and research in Counselling Psychology and related areas (four courses per semester
- Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects in Counselling Psychology and related disciplines
- Providing results of assignments, tests and examinations for recording
- Participating in academic seminars, workshops, conferences and departmental activities
- Setting and marking assignments, tests and examinations
- Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the University Management
Qualifications and skills
- An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Counselling Psychology, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized University
- Excellent presentation, teaching and learning support skills
- at least three (3) years teaching experience at University level or experience in research or industry
- Registered with the relevant professional body, where applicable
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers
- Ability to use modern teaching methods and E-Learning tools
