Duties and Responsibilities: Duties at this level will include: Teaching and evaluating students; preparing schemes of work, lesson notes and lesson plans; Assessing students in clinical areas; Guiding and counselling students in matters related to their academics; Supporting the designing and development instruments to assess health training needs; Developing guidelines for evaluation of health teaching materials for different health fields; Evaluating training programmes to determine their effectiveness and relevance with present and future health needs in the area of specialization; Implementing of competence based curriculum; Planning and organizing continuing education programmes for health workers in relevant areas; Conducting research in area of specialization, operational research and supervising students on research projects; and Participating in formulating and implementing new training strategies. Requirements for Appointment: For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: Bachelor of Science in any of the following fields: Health Insurance, Health Systems Management and Economics, Health Systems Management, OR KMTC Higher Diploma in Health Systems Management and has practiced in the relevant field for a minimum of 6 years Been registered with the relevant professional body where applicable; Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; Proficiency in computer applications. go to method of application »
