Duties and Responsibilities: Duties at this level will include: Teaching and evaluating students; preparing schemes of work, lesson notes and lesson plans; Assessing students in clinical areas; Guiding and counselling students in matters related to their academics; Supporting the designing and development instruments to assess health training needs; Developing guidelines for evaluation of health teaching materials for different health fields; Evaluating training programmes to determine their effectiveness and relevance with present and future health needs in the area of specialization; Implementing of competence based curriculum; Planning and organizing continuing education programmes for health workers in relevant areas; Conducting research in area of specialization, operational research and supervising students on research projects; and Participating in formulating and implementing new training strategies. Requirements for Appointment: For appointment to this level a candidate must have; - Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science OR KMTC Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery (Clinical Forensic Medicine) and practiced in the profession for a minimum of six (6) years; Been registered with the relevant professional body where applicable; Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution; Proficiency in computer applications. go to method of application »
