Requirements for Appointment
- A Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.BCH.B) degree in Medicine from a University recognized in Kenya;
- A Master’s Degree in the relevant specialization;
- Must have served as a medical Officer for at least ten (10) years commutatively and at least three (3) years in a senior position either Public or Private institution
- Be registered and in good standing with the Kenya Medical Practitioner and Dentist Board;
- Valid practicing Licence from Medical Practitioner and Dentist Board;
- Certificate in Senior Management Course not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated a good understanding of the County Governments Mandate, Health Policies, as well as Vision 2030;
- Shown outstanding administrative capability and professional competence required in managing livestock production services
- Have capacity to multitask within strict timeliness with minimum supervision.
