Duties and Responsibilities

• Implementing nutrition programs;
• Providing nutrition services in health care facilities;
• Conducting nutrition assessments;
•  Collecting and compiling nutrition data;
• Providing nutrition, health education and demonstrations;
• Counselling of patients with specific nutritional needs;
• Monitoring preparation of therapeutic feeds implementing;
• Promoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programs and
• Providing micronutrient supplementation.
• Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement for Appointment

A candidate must have:

• Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID)
• KCPE and KCSE Certificate (Attach evidence)
• Diploma in Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized institution,
• Registration by the Council of the Institute of Nutritionist and Dietician (CIND).
• At least one (1 )year post registration experience (Attach evidence)
