Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately and safely according to prescriptions and professional standards.
- Provide medication information and counselling to patients.
- Maintain accurate dispensing and pharmaceutical records.
- Manage pharmaceutical stock, including ordering, receiving, storage and stock-taking.
- Monitor expiry dates and minimise pharmaceutical wastage.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled medicines.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with clinical, claims and finance teams to support patient care and revenue protection.
Requirements
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Valid professional registration and practising licence.
- Hospital/clinical pharmacy experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication, numerical and organisational skills.
- High level of integrity, discipline and attention to detail.
