Internship/Volunteer Duration:
- Six (6) Months
Successful interns and volunteers who demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and outstanding performance will receive a Certificate of Internship/Volunteer Service and be given priority consideration for future employment opportunities at Girwa Radio as positions become available.
Key Responsibilities
- Host live and recorded radio programmes.
- Prepare programme content and scripts.
- Conduct interviews with guests.
- Engage listeners through calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and social media.
- Promote audience participation and community engagement.
- Support programme promotion and branding.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Journalism, Communication, Media Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in Dholuo is an added advantage.
