Requirements A successful candidate will need to possess strong communication, organizational, and project management skills including technical assistance. She/he must exhibit a passion for results, a commitment to excellence, and the capacity to facilitate multi-stakeholder and strategic discussions. Should possess a diploma in any of the following disciplines: Information Communication Technology, Health Records and Information Management, Health Informatics, Health Information Systems or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with 3-5 years of relevant working experience; Membership to the relevant professional body is an added advantage; Core competencies include excellent skills in planning, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and Experience working with health information systems or facility-level digital systems is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities This position is responsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of all IT and HMIS systems, including implementation, maintenance, and user support by performing the following tasks: Provide day-to-day technical and operational support to health care workers in health facilities for DHA digital health systems. (Provider portal and HMIS) among others. Supporting SHA registration and related workflows. Conduct review meetings with the CHRIO and ICT Officers. Conduct user on job training, mentorships, and refresher sessions for health workers at facility level. Conduct supportive supervision of the health facilities; Support data quality, system adoption, and appropriate use of digital health systems; Liaise with County and Sub-County Health Information Officers and ICT on digital health system issues. Monitor system usage and prepare routine support and activity reports; Escalate complex system issues to DHA central technical teams and follow up on resolution. Collaborate with the hospital staff to ensure proper integration of software applications with existing hospital systems as required. Deliver training and user support sessions for hospital staff and relevant stakeholders on HMIS systems and applications. Monitor software systems for potential security vulnerabilities and take appropriate actions to mitigate identified risks. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
