Contract: Fixed-term, 2 years (with possibility of renewal)

Vi Agroforestry is recruiting Project Officers for the Mount Elgon Livelihoods Project. The successful candidates will support smallholder farmers in implementing sustainable agriculture and climate-smart land management practices, strengthen farmer organizations, facilitate project activities, and promote climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Extension, Natural Resource Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ NGO experience
• Experience in agroforestry, SALM, climate change, and community development
• At least 2 years’ project management experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills
