Key Responsibilities Drive market and business development to meet annual business targets across East and the Horn of Africa among other key markets. Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives and facilitate continuous business development efforts. Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities, partnerships and contracts. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; NGOs, INGOs, multilateral organizations, governments, government agencies and other stakeholders. Support preparation and delivery of technical proposals, presentations and bids to prospective clients. Lead negotiations and support contract management processes. Coordinate with technical and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Monitor business performance and prepare periodic reports on sales, partnerships, and market activities. Support in project implementation, monitoring and reporting. Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, networking events and business forums. Mentor and support business development staff within the region. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's Degree in marketing, Business Development, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, International Business, or a relevant field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage. Professional certification in Business Development, Strategic Management, Project Management, or Sales Management is desirable. Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, sales, marketing and/or strategic partnerships in a consulting environment. Experience working as a consultant will be an added advantage. Demonstrated success in business growth, client acquisition and revenue generation. Key Competencies Strong networking, business development and relationship management abilities.
