Key Responsibilities    

• Undertake patrols
• Ensuring integrity of University perimeter fence
• Protection of University properties against losses & damage
• Enforcement of University rules and regulations
• Assist in firefighting
• Maintenance of law and order within University
• Traffic control
• Undertake surveillance duties
• Vetting of staff, visitors and students accessing/exiting university
• Prevention of crime
• Reporting and recording of security incidents
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications & Skills    

• Certificate of good conduct
• National Youth Service Training
• Three (3) years’ experience of security service
• On-the-job training or service in the discipline forces
• KCSE Certificate
