About this role
Mandatory Requirements
For appointment to this grade an officer must have:
- Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Accountant I or in a comparable position;
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution;
- Certified Public Accountant (K) or equivalent qualification from an accredited examination body;
- Membership to the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or relevant professional body and in good standing;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
