Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Auto Technician to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of a fleet of safari vehicles. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair of Toyota Land Cruiser models operating in rugged terrain. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair Toyota Land Cruiser 78/79 Series vehicles Maintain diesel engines (1HZ, 1VD, 1KD) for optimal performance and reliability Inspect and maintain suspension systems, chassis, and undercarriage components Service and overhaul 4x4 systems, including differentials, transfer cases, and hubs Maintain safari-specific accessories such as winches, snorkels, and roof racks Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including dual batteries and in-vehicle power systems Conduct pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections Implement preventive maintenance programs based on usage and terrain conditions Respond to breakdowns and perform field repairs where necessary Carry out safe vehicle recovery using approved techniques Maintain accurate service records and documentation Mentor junior technicians and support a high-performance workshop culture What We’re Looking For Diploma or higher qualification in Automotive Engineering Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior technician or mechanic role Proven experience with Toyota Land Cruiser diesel engines (1HZ, 1VD, 1KD) Strong knowledge of 4x4 systems, diagnostics, and automotive electronics Experience with Toyota dealerships (e.g., CFAO) is an added advantage Valid driving licence Why Join This Opportunity?
