Reports to the Chair of Department.
Minimum Requirements
- Doctorate degree holder or its academic equivalent from a recognized or accredited institution.
- Master’s degree qualification in international relations or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.
- Bachelor Degree in International relations or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized university.
- Must have at least 3 years of teaching experience as a lecturer at a university level position or an equivalent institution.
- Must have a minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as lecturer or equivalent of which at least twenty-four (24) should be from refereed journals.
- Must show evidence of contribution to university life through active participation in departmental matters, students’ academic advising, School and University meetings committee membership and others.
- Must be recognized and registered by relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
- Evidence of affiliation to a professional body will be an added advantage.
