Job Description

  • Conduct community awareness on waste segregation and proper disposal
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports
  • Collect and analyse waste management data
  • Support recycling and resource recovery activities at the mrf
  • Monitor illegal dumping sites
  • Support operations at mwakirunge dumpsite
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, waste management, public health, climate change, natural resource management, environmental planning, urban planning, or any other related field from a recognized institution
  • Proficiency in computer application
  • Be an unemployed kenyan graduate
  • Have not retired or exited from formal employment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work in field environment
  • Willingness to learn and work with communities
  • Ability to prepare basic reports and maintain records
