Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Perform emergency and elective general surgical procedures.
- Conduct ward rounds and manage pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Run surgical outpatient clinic and handle referrals from lower-level facilities.
- Participate in 24/7 surgical on-call rotation for emergency coverage.
- Oversee infection control and quality assurance in theatre.
- Supervise, mentor and assess interns, medical officers and theatre nursing staff.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master of Medicine (MMed) in General Surgery or equivalent post-graduatequalification recognized by KMPDC.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with active clinical practiceinGeneral Surgery
