Technician Grade A/B Pharmacognosy Section

Qualification and Experience Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution in Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, Ethnobotany, Plant Taxonomy, Biotechnology, or Applied Biology. Demonstrated Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and quality control principles Demonstrated experience with the extraction, identification, and basic analysis of phytochemicals Computer literacy Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare and standardize botanical specimens for teaching and research Execute phytochemical extraction procedures and preliminary phytochemical screening Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment Assist in organizing and conducting practical sessions Manage laboratory inventory Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Support faculty in conducting research go to method of application »
