Requirements for Appointment:
- A Diploma in the relevant area of specialization from a recognized and accredited institution with at least one (1) year relevant work experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting and preparing teaching materials;
- Conducting laboratory practical’s and demonstrations to undergraduates;
- Participating in research activities in the laboratory;
- Ensuring that laboratory ware including chemicals, glass and plastic ware and equipment are kept in good order;
- Ensuring that laboratory and workshops are kept clean and tidy;
- Keeping and maintaining laboratory records;
- Receiving, processing and analyzing samples;
- Ensuring safe use and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste; and
- General laboratory routine.
