Key Responsibilities
- Client engagement and booking - Engage with clients via WhatsApp, email, and calls to manage inquiries, bookings, itineraries and payments
- Quotations & Pricing - Prepare and review proposals, negotiate rates with suppliers, and ensure accurate pricing room configurations.
- Reservations: Coordinate accommodation, flights, vehicles, and activities; confirm bookings and document client requests
- Quality Assurance- prepare client briefings, verify daily movement files and confim all bookings and supplier invoices are accurate
- Customer Support - Provide emergency assistance during travel, manage complaints and refunds and support the sales team with information
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in travel and tourism or similar field
- 2-3 years experience, as a tour consultant in Kenya
- Good knowledge of African tourism destinations, safari activities, and local and international travel requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and independent work ethic.
- Other destination knowledge is an added advantage.
