Description Spot Booking. Generating and managing S-Numbers. Attach and detach S-Numbers. Customer portfolio, consignee, and specific requirements. Planning (split direct and indirect). Registering new customers. Shipping documentation with shipment destinations and requirements. Airline knowledge (destinations, schedule, pivot weights, ULD types) Interpreting the booking plan and forecasting. Communication to client on delays, cancellations, etc. Using booking and forecast tools. Learn industry abbreviations (booking & airline lingual). How to read and understand/interpret the booking sheet. Understand ULD types and pivot weights & allocations. Understand the flight schedules & destinations. Preparation of tentative booking. Creating consoles. ETDs and ATDs in CargoWise. Attach and detach S numbers. Loading variables (mixing customers). Communicate flight delays and cancellations. Update performance analysis and run and request HAWB stock. Requirements Diploma in any relevant Commercial Course/ Aviation Course (preferably IATA Forwarding). Ability to diagnose and solve problems. A team player with the ability to work well in a small dynamic airfreight team. Self-motivated, confident, creative, disciplined with attention to detail.
