Requirements: For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: – Diploma (KNQF Level 6) in relevant respective fields of study from a recognized Qualifications Awarding Institution (QAI); Been registered by the relevant professional body (where applicable); Pedagogy and Practical experience in the relevant fields; TVETA License Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: – Undertaking practical/theoretical training in areas of specialization in accordance with the occupational standards and curriculum; Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work; Setting and marking examination/assignment; Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work. Any other relevant assigned duties.
