Role Objective

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project performance by ensuring effective planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • This role requires a proactive and results-oriented professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and provide strategic insights to support business objectives across the Group.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Execution

  • Lead the development and implementation of project plans, including objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Manage project activities from initiation through completion while ensuring successful delivery.
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and other external stakeholders involved in project execution.
  • Identify project risks and establish appropriate mitigation measures.

Strategic Alignment and Business Support

  • Ensure projects undertaken across subsidiaries support the Group’s strategic direction and priorities.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to evaluate project needs, determine priorities, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide recommendations that enhance project efficiency and business performance.

Performance Tracking and Reporting

  • Establish effective project monitoring processes to track progress, costs, risks, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and performance insights to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Financial and Resource Management

  • Develop and oversee project budgets to ensure proper financial planning and control.
  • Monitor expenditure and support cost-effective project implementation.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of available resources across projects.

Stakeholder and Subsidiary Coordination

  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between different subsidiaries and business units.
  • Act as the key project coordination link between management, teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Promote operational efficiency and identify opportunities for improved collaboration.

Governance, Compliance, and Quality Control

  • Ensure all projects adhere to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain consistency and excellence in project outputs and deliverables.

Job Specifications and Qualifications 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (Required).
  • Master’s Degree (MBA or related field) will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in project management. 
  • Experience managing cross-functional or multi-sector projects. 
  • Exposure to sectors such as agriculture, logistics, events, or e-commerce is an added advantage. 
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and successfully deliver complex projects.
