WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support machine installation and commissioning requirements.
- Service, maintain and troubleshoot machines and related equipment.
- Carry out reactive maintenance to minimise machine failures and inefficiencies.
- Conduct regular checks for potential workplace and job-site hazards.
- Optimise mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely machine and maintenance records.
- Monitor availability of spare parts and stock requirements.
- Train colleagues on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment while adhering to applicable industry regulations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Post-secondary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years proven experience in a similar mechanical/technical role, including troubleshooting.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering systems, installations, maintenance and repairs.
- Proficiency in mechanical diagnostics. Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Microsoft Office proficiency is desirable.
